Transfering Midi Parts from Cubase SX to Ableton Clips?

Hey whats the easiest way to transfer saya Midi 'Riff' or 'part' from a Cubase Arrangement / Song to an Ableton Clip?


if you are trying to Loopify a Song written in Cubase and want to transfer over some Midi loops?

I was copying the Midi part to a new empty arrangement then Export Midi then load that into Ableton Clip - which sorta works but is a bit time confusing. - would be good to just drag the part to Ableton or something.. hmm, that doesn't work does it?
