Can't find Latin Percussion install...

Post by stefspijk » Thu Jun 18, 2009 11:23 am

Hello!

I updated from Suite 7 to Suite 8 yesterday, installed it & all works fine...butttt...I can't find the Latin Percussion section anywhere...

I repaired the Library from the preferences, it's still not in the Library list, but at Account licenses it says that it's there...

Can someone help me?

Thanks! :)

there are no special sections for any of the sampled instrument products

it should all be in drum racks, I'd think

try a search for 'latin percussion' in the browser. pretty sure that will bring up the presets. (and if so, you could copy them all into a folder, if you would prefer to see them in that format)

?

I found some Latin Percussion, but I'm sure it just isn't everything...

I found sounds, but only 3 presets....and I only found them via the search function, and nowhere else...

The say it's about this:
1 GB of carefully sampled percussion covering 107 instruments in 24bit/48kHz stereo.
8 multi-articulation kits and 32 instrument groups provide variety and plenty of potential for customization.
Kits and instruments are configured as Drum Racks, so it's easy to hook up your hardware and start playing.
50 clips of patterns and phrases demonstrating and providing authentic use of the sounds.
A set of grooves to add some Latin feel to your drum patterns.
Up to 8 articulations per instrument including Slap, Mute, Flam, Heel, Stick and Shake.
Up to 20 velocity layers and up to 4 alternating hits per instrument for dynamic and authentic playing.

But where's all that?!?!

are you sure that you installed the Latin Percussion pack? Not just the suite upgrade?

I never downloaded it separately, because I assumed it already would be in the package...

But downloading it now, see if it makes a difference!

Thanks for the tip! :)
