Guys,

Your stuff is hot! Did you sleep at all during the last 3 months?

Seriously though, how long were you working on this project? Did you do the audio first, then cut the videos to the music, vice versa, or work on both simultaneously?

I am involved in both audio and motion graphics/editing so I know that it's super time consuming when you are doing both.

This is an ongoing project. We started with "Fish Music" in 2002 and never stoped since.
That's just a small part of the work we've made. More to come.
The processes vary quite a bit. We don't like to be stuck to just one approach.
For instance, "Fish Music" was done in one night (we ended at 10 in the morning). Both audio and video were made/edited at the same time.
Recently, Hugo moved to Madeira (a nice island in the Atlantic) so, I send him music and he sends me drafts of his videos. When we reach an agreement, he gets the final music and works over it. "Adobe Premiere" gets used a lot.
Live, I use "Live" and he uses "Resolume".

Cheers,
Joao

i really love your stuff!
my favourite is on/off!

i really like putting music to abstract visuals too.
i did some here:
http://zed.cbc.ca/go.ZeD?FILTER_KEY=216 ... =pixelworx

the first one (pixelworx) is the longest and most finished.
but ya takes forever to do anything really good.

you can probably post it on the site too, they even play it on Canadian TV if they like it.

That is some cool shit.... I really like the fish music... I recognise that gold fish... Isn't the one that was in that movie with john Cleese...

On and Off is trippy I could see people triipin out watching this on some good drugs... I remeber as a kid doing sort of the same thing with the TV.... Turn off the lights turn on the TV then turn the TV off and watch it fade into that little dot then wait for the big flash of light... Ahh the joys of youth then there was that game Doctor he he he...
