Anyone know of any commercial or otherwise sources for NL drum samples?

Not offhand .. however on the similar topic:

Anyone have a good source for Machinedrum samples, other than
the M-Audio set?

Those of you looking for machinedrum samples should know that most of the sounds it creates aren't that amazing on their own. It's how they sound in the grooves that are being created when each of them has so many tweaks being made on each step for each of the tracks.
I've sampled mine to put into the MPC1000 and 2000xl and I scrapped it as soon as I started programming grooves since the "magic" isn't there anymore.

Definately worth the money and a joy to stream into clips in Live.

NL for drums? Not really what the NL is known for, is it? I think its percussion banks are a little weak. I guess they could sound ok if you EQ'd em right.

I'd love to pick up that Machinedrum sample CD, though, just to find out what all the Elektron fuss is about.

Is the Machine Drum sample CD mainly loops, or are there a lot of single hits on there?

Carl the M-Audio Machine Drum Sample CD has over 600 single hits on it – should be enough for you.

If anybody got the Future Music Magazine FM157 with the M-Audio Sample Collection CD on the cover, the one shots on this CD - that have the word “erase” or “storm” in the title are one shots from the Machine Drum Sample CD.
