Bleh, I would love an acapella of PYT, so hard to do a fresh mix when you've gotta fight the music. Is there any way to isolate just vocals that is effective?

ok where and how can we enter this competition...i personally think song choice should be at the remixers disgretion to much of the same song would be really horrible ...but looks like you are going to get lots of billy jean any way i would do blood on the dance floor or somthing of off the wall the best two albums

No rules, do what you want to pay your respects to The King of Pop in your own musical way!
I've updated the first post to include the midi file/acapella links. But feel free to make your own cover version on sousaphone & triangle. Personally, I bought Billie Jean off iTunes for €0.99.
Just post a link to the file when you're done. Rave also kindly offered to host the submissions on a server if you like...

Ableton is not my Live-ah
She's just a DAW who thinks that she's number One
But the Kid is not Beyond
(Hee-hee!)

I don't think anyone could actually beat Michael at his own "remix" game. He was assuredly the king of remixing himself.

Aright here it is

http://www.virb.com/killthemwithcolour
using virb cus its good for online streaming, but if we do have to submit and mp3, just say and ill throw up a link.

All righty, here's my Billie Jean remix, then:
http://virb.com/acidpets
I have no idea how the mix sits, as I did the whole thing on my laptop with headphones. I would've structured it better if
this were more of a serious thing; I wanted it to be a bit quick 'n' dirty, so a lot of the tweaks are live

...so it's fitting that I listened on my laptop with headphones on.
I think Spork is in the lead right now.
