I have no idea how the mix sits, as I did the whole thing on my laptop with headphones. I would've structured it better if
this were more of a serious thing; I wanted it to be a bit quick 'n' dirty, so a lot of the tweaks are live

...so it's fitting that I listened on my laptop with headphones on.
I think Spork is in the lead right now.

Okay. I'm in:
http://soundcloud.com/hidden-driveways/tracks
I wanted to do a stripped down, more disco-emotional version of the tune. I love the way Michael's voice sounds in the acapella, all dry, forward, human, and just fucking amazing.
Also, I wanted to finish this tonight, so it is raw, and could use some more work. Okay. A lot more work. But whatever. I'm just glad to be in.

I put a copy of the link on the first page. That's for Billy Jean, at least, others, I dunno...

You're in! Yeah, that acapella source is something, eh? What's that weird little David Lynch noise right at that end of your mix?

Updated the first page to list the mixes so far...
Feel free to submit more than one mix if your mind can stand it.
Also, some inspiration...

I think this is my favourite so far... I've just heard it on the laptop speakers so far, but I like the use of the different source material and the remix structure as a whole... nice work otojin.

Yeah, there's a setting in Soundcloud for each track to make it private or public. Anand, set your creation free!
