I know that Max for Live is intended to be able to turn an APC40's 5x8 array of buttons into a step sequencer.
I wonder if someone more familiar than I with MAX can tell me how easy it is likely to be to turn a BCR2000 into a step sequencer that can set levels and other parameters rather than just turning notes on and off.
BCR2000 + M4L = ?
Re: BCR2000 + M4L = ?
it's not intended to turn an APC into anything, that's a narrow view of max4Live it's intended to let users combine the power of max/msp with Live with very tight integration. you should go look at their web site at www.cycling74.com to get a grasp on what max/msp is. it's a completely separate product that goes waaaaaay beyond tweaking an APC.
you can turn a BCR into anything, same with an APC, you're only limited by your imagination.
