Buy Live8 Edu, still get sampler?

Dead easy question, if you buy live8 educational license, do you get the summer of sampler offer and a free sampler instrument as well?


Not massively moved to upgrade tbh, but since the upgrade is full price a new license all together is only 50 euro cheaper, I'd probably get a new license if it came with sampler and pass my old one on to the music dept. at the school I work in.

Thats a pitty, guess I'll stick with 7.

erm - unless you are buying a SEPERATE copy of Live (i.e. a new license with no ties to your L7 license), you will not be able to get Live 8 on an educational license. If this is what you plan on doing, then no, you won't get Sampler - Ableton SCRAPPED discounted EDUCATIONAL UPGRADES, so if you upgrade from Live 7 edu - you pay the full upgrade price and the one plus point to all of this is then you are deemed a full user of the full retail product, rather than an educational user. If you upgrade to 8, you cannot sell your Live 7 license as they are linked, selling one means selling both.

If you UPGRADE to 8, apart from the previous caveat, your license is deemed equal to that of a full retail commercial license, so you may qualify subject to the T&C.
