white noise when arming a track for recording

I didn't see a post on this, but I get white noise when I arm a track to record using "ext. in" as the input. I am using a Digi 002 rack as my audio card, which does come up in my preferences. Has anyone heard of this?

I'm having this same problem. Did you find a solution for this?

Hello,

You need to install either the latest Digidesign Core audio standalone driver or install the latest ProTools update.

Yep you're right. Right after this I stumbled upon another post--had to install the 7.1.1cs2 update and it works great now!
