Thanks m:o
...so if i'm correct they work like a dream for you ?
I don't have an ilok, so no demoing i'm afraid...listened to some mp3's and i think it's really what i'm after :)
Was just wondering about the cpu usage and compatability...

Cheers...

they have a 30 days trial up on their site, which works without dongle.
and yes, no probs like crashing or freezing in Live 7 and 8 (besides the many
peaople around here, my Live 8 is rockstable). just get your demo...

Yeah I really like them, especially Echoboy. They are top notch to be sure. Use as AU in Live if on a Mac.

They work fine in Live for me.

Can't recommend them enough - they're an absolute joy to use. Truly musical and insanely configurable.

Combine them with a UAD card and your laughing.

Best plugins I own. Echo boy I couldn't live without. Better than delay designer in logic. Had to buy an Ilok though...

Hi all

I just try to try the demo package from their website- but it doesn't work.
It says no fun without registration/iLok - but I haven't iLok yet. Never needed.

And on the website is written that for the demo the iLok driver is sufficient. I installed the driver.

Same result.

They're installed - but when i try to put any effect into a channel a window pops up which says: this trial edition is no longer active. This trial has expired.

But it's the trial I downloaded from the link I received via mail from soundtoys - 15 minutes ago.

Am I doing something wrong - or...?

Any advice?

I'm using all the Soundtoys plugs they work in Live 8 32bit and in Live 8 64bit beta with jbridge.

I think soundtoys changed the demo to ilok only a while back I onced demoed them without an ilok then months later asked them if I couild demo them again and they said I needed an Ilok. The Ilok is worth it just for those plugs and its less agro reinstalling a computer with Ilok plugs. make sure you buy Ilok 2 as many devs now make ilok 2 only plugs.

The soundtoys guys programed the famous Eventide H3000 hardware. They are working on 64bit version of all their plugs.

Maybe you tried the demos on the same computer years ago and forgot? Computers remember that stuff. :x
