Live 8 Warping problem!

Post by Mellow » Wed Jul 08, 2009 1:44 pm

Hi :)
I've been trying to warp tracks in live 8 and i just cant stand it.
When i have warped let's say a four bar loop and the bpm of those 4 bars is let's say 120 bpm, but the rest of the track is still in the original tempo of let's say 130. What's happening?
In live 7 when i set the second warp marker the rest of the song "followed" if you know what i mean. Now, the only thing that changes tempo is the section between the markers! How do i get it right? Please help me

I can upload some pictures of it if you like and if you dont understand!

I've stopped djing with live just because of this shit!

I FIGURED IT OUT NOW! no need to answer.. forgot to click warp from here STRAIGHT!
Keepin' it Mellow

Well, if I understand your problem correctly, I think the easiest solution would be to warp the first bar and a point that it still in the different tempo after that bar, then adding a third warp marker to where you say the 130 BPM section starts, right-clicking that third warp marker and selecting warp from here straight, or if the global tempo is set to 130, Warp 130 from here.

Hope this helps

edit: whoops, didn't realize you answered your own question
