Live automatically quantizes MIDI on import?

Hello

I am trying to import a MIDI file into Live 8, but after importing (dragging and dropping) all notes are quantized. Whenever I open the same MIDI file in Reaper the notes are not quantized.

I don't want the notes to be quantized because obviously all musical expression is instantly lost.
I've tried searching for the setting that might turn this off but can't find anything.

have you turned off the default quantise setting?
