Upgrade to Imac from years of PC induced misery

Post by jez66 » Sat Jul 11, 2009 4:49 pm

I have just got a new Imac for my studio which has allowed me to get my studio arranged a bit more effectively as it takes less space than my old PC. I have only had it a week and it seems to work a treat which is great after years of PCs crashing, conflicting viruses and music projects that stop opening in their respective DAW. Ableton seems to be working brilliantly and I am chuffed to bits!
I have posted some pics on myspace site if anyone is interested.
I will post another topic as an update as to how its working out.

2.66 which is the same as my last PC but performs really well. Just in the middle of my first tune so It will be interesting to see how it performs when plug ins are maxed out :)

One of my favorite things is being able to plug 7 usb devices from one cable and never have OS X hiccup or want to find "new hardware"
