Volume.

Post by thossi69 » Thu Jul 02, 2009 4:40 pm

Hello. I've got a problem with volume when exporting my tracks. When I listen to my track in Ableton, it's got a good volume, and I can hear it normally, but after exporting it's extremely low, even when I got my volume in iTunes on high. Anyone know the problem?

Oh, and while we're on the subject, why do all my tracks export at 1411kbps and go up to 60MB?

Hi thossi69,

What else did you expect?

(1411kbps is the normal -uncompressed- rate for CD quality {16 bit - 44kHz - stereo} files)

best, p.e.
Live 8_3_4 + 4b7_32+64 -Suite- Max4Live 5_1_9 _ core2DuoMacBook 2*2,16 Ghz + external FW HD _ OSX 10.6.8 _ 3G RAM _ M.H. MIO 2882 + 5.4d208 Driver _ Faderfox LV1 _ Akai MPK25 _ Logitec wheel mouse _______ PeacE will be the SOLution of LIVE

But it's 60 MB.. Too big to release.. So, how do I just export it in 320 KBPS and smaller MB?

I have the same problem as thossi. It sounds perfect in Ableton on playback, but once I hear the exported version in Itunes, it sounds dull (maybe even mono), and the volume is much lower than any other songs in my library. I tried rendering 24, putting it back into Ableton and sticking a limiter on it while boosting the track volume, but that just makes it distort once it's exported. If anyone can give us SPECIFIC instructions on how to help, we would REALLY appreciate it...and I'm sure alot of other people will too.
