Hi guys!
Hope everething is fine
I've got a short question: For a project on my university we connected different interfaces (color tracking, midi keyboard outputs, via pure data and midi yoke to live).
I hope you can give me an answer to my question:
I triggered midi notes coming from the usb keyboard to start tracks in live. That really works fine. But now I'm trying to "teach" ableton that the programm should use the SAME midi note wenn it's aktivated the second time, that it stops the track. Unfortunately at the moment I only can stop the track with a seperate midi note. But this doesen't work with our concept.
I hope you can help me!

Re: routing Live via midi
Do you mean 'clips' when you talk about starting tracks? If yes, you should have a look at Launch Modes for clips. You can set them to 'toggle': A note-on starts the clip, the next note-on (same note) stops the clip.
Hope this helps.
