Overall latency compensation bug, 2 Ms can't be used

Post by raapie » Wed Feb 02, 2005 1:12 pm

Today I check my Indigo io for latency compensation. I found out that 2 extra Ms works best (sample accurate compesation would be best of course, maybe for a future update?). I added this value to the Preferences page and tested it again: that worked fine. Then when I closed Live 4.1 and opened it again the value was changed to 1 Ms instead of 2 Ms. I checked 3 Ms and Live 4.1 keeps it when closing and opening Live again. But with 2 Ms, the values jumps to 1 Ms after closing.

Happened under WindowsXPsp2, Sony Z1 laptop, Centrino 1.5 gHz, 1 gig RAM.

Hi raapie,

I can reproduce it here. Seems to be some kind of internal rounding problem.

btw, this one is already in Live 3 :)

Alex
