Hello all
Can any mac users comment wether they have this CPU usage issue that Spacerboy is relating...that would pretty much kill my hopes of getting the FA-101 (can barely do my thing on my Pbook as it is !)

Could someone run a test with other FireWire devices like M-Audio, RME ... on this. Just (PC) go to system performance in task manager and look if there is any CPU usage if you switch on the Soundcard. In my case (even its in idle and no soundsoftware is open) it changes from 8 to 12% which is bullshit. Usually USB2 devices should have this issue since USB uses CPU and FireWire should not, at least my other FireWire devices don´t use any CPU if they are idle.
thanks a lot.
i wrote several times about this issue to Edirol, they always replied saying...they will look into it!
