Advice for a newbie...please...
I have an Axiom 25 and I want to pair it with something but I'm sure what. I'm not looking to DJ but I am looking for something that I can use on stage as part of a noise/experimental band. New or used, what's the best over all controller for $200.00 or less? Any suggestions?
Thanks
Thanks

Im in a similar boat as U. I too have an Axiom 25 and looking for a good complement. If I were you (And I wish I had 200 bucks) I would keep saving for an APC 40. Seriously nothing would go better than that as a complement. to the axiom.
Because Whatever.

Are you looking for faders, rotaries or drum pads?
Re: Advice for a newbie...please...
I'm looking for something that will give me a good combination of all 3 if possible. Suggestion?

Re: Advice for a newbie...please...
for experimental noise type band i in vision the need for an x/y pad hee
check out the korg padkontrol a used one is like 100 bucks or so new they are like 200
i use an mpd24 and mpd32 but the knobs piss me because if you do a fast knob tweak the data moves slower.. retarded, but other then that i do love my mpd's allot
take a look at the Behringer BCR2000 i dont have one but lots of people around here us it
a bcr with a padkontroler could way in just over $200-$250 and give you allot of control.

I'm also a padKontrol user myself. It's great and it works so well in Live. I definitely consider picking one up. I use my pad to control drum racks, launch clips, control Live, and even play scales. It even functions as a MIDI to USB converter for one of my synths. It does it all. It looks like the Axiom 25 has a lot of features though too. I would keep the $200 until you figure out what you really need.
