Browser Midi Mapping

Hi, I have a few questions just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to do

I have a vestax vci-300 linked to ableton live 8 and i was wondering if somehow i can midi map the browser? the vci 300 has an up/down/left/right (center select button) and i want to map that, is it possible? can anyone tell me how to do it? thanks

you can only map items that are highlighted when you press the MIDI or KEY buttons. I'm not sure this is possible but I could be wrong.

i don't think so because there is a program called nativekontrol for the korg padkontrol that lets users control everything with just the padkontrol

there's always simulated mouse clicks. you might be able to follow a few clicks with translated arrow keys and return..
