SampleTank 2.5 wont show up in my devices

Hello to all I am a newbie to this forum but I have been doing music for ten years with FL Studio and Cubase, I made the switch over to Ableton Live 8 just two days ago. EVERYTHING has been going GREAT just one problem, my beloved SampleTank wont show up in my devices.
I just want to know how to get it to show up. Ableton is indeed a BEAST and I LOVE IT but I need my sampletank(Ive got beyond thousands of High Quality sounds that I rely on in it, I even have all the sampletron, samplemoog, and Miroslav Philharmonik sets loaded into it)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S.
there was one more problem I encountered, when I export my track the drums pitch changed I made a beat using just Battery v1.0, Pro-53 and Balthor Grand. is this a problem with Battery or with Ableton, never experienced that one happening before.

rescan plugins (that's after you turn ON use vst plugin custom folder, and also browse for your vst folder).

I did that, i did it over and over and over again and still nothing.

hopefully it wasnt a waste cuz I love sampletank and i love ableton but this appears to be a problem. I even tried copying the sampletank DLL to other folders.

seems strange, i had no problem with 8 seeing sampletank 2.5.

Im having problems lately with 8.0.4 seeing a few of my vsts. In 8.0.3 it was all good, now in 8.0.4 my Minimoog V, Massive, and Korg Legacy VSTs are MIA.

Not sure if its the same issue, but figured id mention it.
