Open the taskmanager whilst Live is running without playback and any devices with only one audio track i.e. the most economical way to run Live. Live creates frequent cpu spikes about 2-3%...(144 Mhz in my case). No other application I own creates cpu spikes only by monitoring it (Automap, CueMix FX, Sony Soundforge). Therefore I ask myself what the hell is Live doing without touching it and without any vst in it

No, I only ask myself why to protect Live with the whole online stuff which causes me a lot of troubles if it can be cracked by people who don't even own the source code?
