Problems with Live 6 and BCF2000
Recently I have started using the BC mode, (no emulation) and have starting mapping things in live. Now for some reason, there is a lot of lag. For e.g., I have fader 1 assigned to track volume 1. In the past the track volume would move in real time when I moved the faders on the BCF. Now I am experiencing a lag. The same goes for the encoder knobs. Any ideas?

Re: Problems with Live 6 and BCF2000
Hi longjohns,
I've tried both hub & direct, still the same problem. It's also doing it in Mackie Mode. By power cycling, do you meen turning it off and on? If so, then yes, have tried that as well, and no luck. Would anyone know if there is a 'factory reset' on the BCF (I have tried the 'panic' reset, but no luck)?

i havent used the bcf in a really long time but definitely have had some experiences which sound similar.
they always were straightened out, at least temporarily, by restarting things... audio/midi drivers, bcf, live, or OS...
i know it's no help

Re: Problems with Live 6 and BCF2000
OK, so I started using the BCF with Reason 4, and the faders and knobs are working fine. So it seems to be an Ableton problem. Certainly very puzzling!!

Re: Problems with Live 6 and BCF2000
I have fixed the problem!! After using the BCF with reason and having all the knobs and faders working properly, when I then started up Live, all of a sudden the faders started working fine again! Strange, maybe it was an issue with the Mac OS X midi drivers??

Re: Problems with Live 6 and BCF2000
Hi There,
Perhaps you can help me. I'm wondering if you have used Reason rewired as a slave to Ableton and if so is it possible to use the BCF2000 as a controller for both programmes? I'm trying this at the moment but find that when I have both programmes open the BCF2000 will only respond to Reason commands. I perhaps naively assumed that as I toggle between the two programmes the BCF2000 would adjust accordingly. The Ableton system responds to the edit midi command but in practice it doesn't work. Maybe you have encountered this problem and know of a way around it.
Thanks for your help
