New user - need help in one subject please!

Hello,

What I am trying to accomplish is this:

I have a song I import into ableton. I want to add layers such as drums and other isntruments. I want them to sync with the song, such as drums. I want to use pre-made loops by Ableton but can't find where they are. When I create a drum pattern I can't sync it with the song even at the same BPM.

How do I sync instruments and songs together so they play in rhythm?
