Tried 8 demo, but now my Live 7 presets do not work

Tried 8 demo, but now my Live 7 presets do not work. Seems the directory is messed.
I'm on a Mac.
Any ideas why they do not work anymore?

If you overwrote your Live 7 library with Live 8 presets, your Live presets can't be used in Live 7 anymore. This is because the presets were created in a newer version of Live.
You'll have to replace the library with your backup library if you want to go back to Live 7.

i had this too.

you dont have to replace your library, you can also uninstall all the ableton live packs (from preferences) and then re-install.

worked for me and I managed to keep all my 3rd party sounds.

thanks..seems a mess, but will have to make the upgrade soon.
I still haven't got all out of Live 7 yet.
What should make me go higher? I was even thinking Logic 9.
