Please help! Virtual MIDI & Live...

Hello,

I hope someone can help me. I need this for Live 7.

I want the numpad keys 1 - 9 to send MIDI notes, it should work like a controller keyboard.

The "build in" virtual keyboard can't be changed to other keys?

I think I need some 3rd party plug-in... which one do you recommend (freeware)? Do I need an additional virtual MIDI port to have it as an instrument in Live?

Of cause this would be a job that could be perfectly managed by a very simple MAX-patch. But for that we have to wait a little bit longer.
Another solution would be to create a track with ten midiclips with the wanted messages in it and key-automate their trigger to the desired keys on your computer-keyboard.

the only problem with the key mapping is that you can only press one at a time

better key option, 10 tracks grouped and midi to an outside midi track to collect them all together
