they said that but then ran in alot of samples most people do i dont think i have ever made a song entirely with vsts and been happy with it...in fact i doubt ive made entirely digital music and been happy with it i always record something in to stop it feeling stale...that says nothing for anyone that does it just shows that i personally cannot.

Check out Airbase, specially tutorial #11 http://www.airbasemusic.com/ All done in Live with samples and soft synths.

Inspirational. Its funny because he's got some of the most wonderfully polished sounding beats.

beethoven did the job... quite well considering the fact he was deaf.
we also made "beethoven compo" back in the 90's demoscene where had to do some music and the jury judged (and laughed their ass on) the masterpieces.
ppl can hear the samples one time then sound off then start sequencing.
maybe i sholuld give it a new try ;)

source?

from what I can find he used samples from previous radiohead sessions where real instruments where involved.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

So isn't half of Live (session view) just a giant "samples from previous radiohead sessions" launcher?
Seems to me it would be easy to both be right on this one. :|
