I dont think people coming to the US really understand why the US policy is so strict for entering here. The US not only has a problem with possible terrorist but also with illegals crossing over the borders for work.
unlike europe ? we encounter the same situation. we're "occident", the rich countries. poor people don't only go to your country but to ours too. consider that.
12micsn1 wrote: Both problems have a big impact on the US economy and social system. Most people outside the US dont have the whole picture to look at or care about doing so.
don't you realize you site the worst critic to your country but inside out ? considering the international power of your country (even your internal decisions affect the rest of the world), you and not us, should be aware of it. cause we suffer 1st and you after... aren't you a bit selfish and arrogant ?
12micsn1 wrote:Its not your problem right?
read before and you'll see why it's also our problem.
12micsn1 wrote: For the most part, as long as problems like this dont occur on your soil,"do you think any government is going to implement anything?"
one more time you're wrong. my country suffer from terrorism since the franco-algerian war, meaning for more than 45 years now. we developped many laws and special institutions for this. the fact is it works very well without diminishing civil rights. terrorism is sometime a threat but not a paranoïa as in your country.
12micsn1 wrote: Maybe, we should all go out an test every nations government or monarchy with terrorist bent on mass destruction an see what happens. Sounds like a great idea. NOTT!!!
it's called diplomacy or foreign policy.
12micsn1 wrote: If I was a suspected terrorist would you want to know everything about me entering your country. Especially, if im capable of such a act that occured on 911? I know thats a "yes" even though I cant hear you say it out loud. I wish the rules were different but I rather see this policy in place then knowing nothing was being done since 911. It took 3,000 people to die to for the US to make real change of its policy.
one more time, how could we, in my country, have been able to do it without attempting to personnal privacy ?
12micsn1 wrote: I feel this guys pain about not wanting give out his personal information but its all comes down to security good or bad policy that it has become. Wouldnt you agree?
personnaly, i won't. your foreign and immigration policies are tactless. the only result of it is an increase in misunderstanding : the only thing we see is your giving us the stick to hit you !

i have a rough view of france based on my only experience with the country of france....i went on a trip to paris and couldn't even order a bottle of water without being treated like a total asshole...also, i couldn't sleep after such rich french food and ended up sleepwalking in the nude into the lobby of my hotel at 4 in the morning....

Just to bring up the cavity searches again. Would it be improper to shit and fart on the person while he/she is performing the cavity search on you?

Maybe if this happened enough times, the workers would actually refuse to perform such duties, unless ofcourse they get a kick out of it!

the thought of coming back to the US, scares the shit out of me...

my original "scheduled" flight out of the continental US, for the first time ever, was sept 12, 2001!! no shit. i finally go my flight out on sept 19th, and my friends st the time would say to me that i was crazy for getting on a plane, and i told them that i thought they were crazy as fuck for NOT.

it is very surreal to see all this shit transpiring. i haven't been home for any of it, and don't know how i'm gonna handle my homecoming this year. i wonder if it is the same old bullshit, or is this really the armageddon shit that it seems to be from the outside looking in. i've been told about the gig situation [shitty], th job situation [shitty], and the patriotic shit. once yyou understand that the thread that weaves thru american culture is fanaticism, then you undrsand my unease at coming back [for a huge length of time] to a place where this gene has been identified, extracted, manipulated all to fuck, and reinserted...creating a monsterfied fanaticism that is impervious to holy water and silver bullets!!

i wonder if the dance music scene has "really" colapsed like it looks like it has, or is it back underground as it usually does every decade and a half, or so. i've heard the stories, and watchd the news, but, knowing home as i do, i have a sinking suspicion it's gonna be some wierd ass buck rogers-wake-up -1000-years-later type shit.

i plan to visit the fam, do a few gigs, drop off a few CDs, and get the fuck back out of there before GWB starts decidng to stage another terrorist attack to "reinforce their resolve to root out the agents of tyranny...blah, blah, blah". i wasn't joking about that shit when he got in the first time, and it scares me especially shitless now.

Is Ganier acting like a bitch?

Personally, I didnt know I would inflame this into a debate. Its not worth spilling your tea over anymore. I havent been to Europe in a long time so its difficult to know if its a melting pot of problems similiar to the US. Ganier could have adjusted to the situation the rules change. Millions other people will put there pride aside an deal with it. People have to share personal information all the time if you want something important to you. Some people are somewhat hell bent on trying to educate me here about foriegn and domestic issue you have. All I can do is read an form my own a opinion. Your point maybe to see things from your way an thats not easy. Is Ganier acting like a bitch? I dont know but he hes not coming here anytime soon to bitch about it.

Our president is a piece of shit. God only knows what damge he will do in these next four years. The rest of the world has good reason to be angry and afraid. I do not blame Laurent.

I was so disgusted after the election that I just started to tune everything out. Atleast as much as I am able to.

Things will get much worse here.

Last call for your freedom of speech.

~Biafra

heh..
Jello Biafra was wrong, none of that happened... so why is everyone in such hysterics. It's just nonsensicle. I really don't get it. The Dems ran a slackard B-team benchsitter and he lost. So... they (the Clintons) didn't want him to win. They ( the Clintons) now have what they want ...Hillary in '08. It really isn't surprising. No president has the power to ruin the US. Don't worry. It'll be ok.
