64-bit version?

Post by tranqui » Tue Aug 11, 2009 9:37 am

I did a search but wasn't able to find anything on this topic... strangely...

I've been wondering: can we expect a 64-bit version of live anytime soon?

with snow leopard and win7 coming out, it sure would be nice to be able to take advantage of the 64-bit system architecture.

PLEASE... YES!

My partner in futility (trying to keep up with hardware/software issues) and I just bought what we thought was a sweet deal for a dual core AMD with 6 gigs of memory etc. While we did know that Ableton does not yet support Vista 64-bit, we didn't think it would be such a clicky, glitchy experience... However, that said, it might also be the Native Instruments plugins we were using, those clowns are MUCH LESS 64-bit ready.

Anyway, please Ableton crew, come back from vacation and get ready for all the versions of Vista before Windows 7 comes out!!!
