Live 4.1 Crashed when i prelisten samples or Loops.....

Post by DJ VAKIS » Sun Feb 06, 2005 10:18 pm

Big problem when i prelisten to some samples or loops...Live 4.1 crashes every day, same problem with Live 4.0.4.But with the version 4.0.1 i dont have any problems.I did a test with some samples+loops same ones when Live 4.1+4.0.4 crashed, and on Live 4.0.1 works fine.I dont know what is wrong. When Live crashed the computer said if i want write a report to Apple. But the problem i dont have it with Live 4.0.1 version.
Please any help?
Thanks

Please help us by adding some more info...

Like:

OS (win/mac)?
Does this happen with some samples or all samples in general?

Cheers

What I ment was that you should try to resample your sample or loop (open it in some sample editor and "save as" or "resample" in 44khz, 16bit

Actually the main problem is that you are still on 10.3.2! There were many known issues with this release of OSX and especailly if you are running an updated version of Live such as Live 4.04 or 4.1, you should be running at LEAST OS 10.3.4 or 10.3.5 (and avoid 10.3.3 like the plague as that was the worst release!)

Hope this helps...
