Is this setup possible?

Hello, Ableton is right after my new PowerBook on things to buy (soon!)

A friend and I are planning on starting an electronic music group together. We have plans to perform live, so here is what I'm wondering:
Would it be possible for I to play on one keyboard to one MIDI track while he plays on a different keyboard to a different MIDI track simultaneously? It would be nice to just plug all the keyboards, etc., into my PowerBook and run the show from there.

For those who are interested, my roadmap if you will is to buy Live and Operator, then a BCR2000, then an Edirol FA66. I already own an Oxygen8.

yes, you will be able to do that.
