Cue Points
I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but after watching a video of Tracktor Scratch... I have to say I would really love this feature.

i use the start marker for cues, just duplicate your clip and put the marker where you want a cue point. you'll need a bunch of clips if you've got a bunch of cues, but triggering new clips for cues works fine!
cheers

Gear i use: a computer with software on it and a couple of boxes with knobs.

when i started djing with live i also tried to work with multyble clips per song, but i stopped it very qickly. more than one clip per song is just to much.
and this cue-points should be midi-mapable for every single cue-point and two buttons per live-track for next-cue-point and previous-cue-point.

+!
This realllllly needs to happen asap. I have a feeling the Ableton/Serato collaboration
will have something like this.

Re: Cue Points
I'm with you guys on this! However, what I would REALLY need is:
Make it possible to scrub through a non-playing waveform with the jog-wheel of a midicontroller (hands of the mouse, please...). This goes for UNWARPED clips as well, I really need to be able to put "cue points" anywhere, quickly, as I play a lot of different tempos and use samples from movies, ambient sounds and so on. So scrubbing through non-playing waveforms, please!
I have to say that I find that playing multiple clips as different cue-points for one song works. You just gotta get the timing right. With some practise, it's fine!

Re: Cue Points
I agree, the "multiplle clips per song" thing seems a very inefficient way of working with cue points from the MIDI controllers point of view. I'm going to try it and see how I get on, but I have a feeling it'll be clumsy even with my APC20.

Esta función es realmente muy importante

It's ridiculous that Ableton doesn't have this functionality
