Pluggo 3.5 update..WARNING

Post by udp » Tue Feb 08, 2005 8:06 pm

So, I've downloaded the 3.5 update fro Pluggo and installed it, but with it is a new challenge and response for authorization. You have to e-mail them the challenge and sometime inthe next (usually) 24 hours they'll send you the response. In the mean while you can't use your pluggo's.

Further (sorry) I've had to remove the pluggo folder from my vst folder to prevent Live from crashing every time I start it. You've been warned.

I received my response back from the challenge I sent, my Pluggo 3.5 says it is now authorized on this computer, but I still get the "buzz" sound as if it is still in demo mode! I've tried everything to fix this including getting rid of the Pluggo_3.ilr file, the plist pref file and reinstalling and nothing! They have a very wonky authorization system this time around and I'm not too happy cause I can't use my Pluggos!

Waiting to hear back from them (cycling '74) regarding this.

don't worry, i had those crashes before.
I deleated all the pluggo and live4 worked again.

It looks great with maxmsp, though.
Do i need it for the maxmsp ?
Cause it's a disaster with live4.

100% mega crash all the time

Been going back and forth with Cyclin support. Looks like I might have to upgrade to 10.3.x to get pluggo 3.5 to work, we'll see. Tomorrow job is to test each pluggo one at a time. whoo-hoo!

Well, most of the pluggos work. I've now fished out the ones that don't. Matt at cycling is a big help. :D

There is now a Pluggo 3.5 updater available for those using 10.2.x. javascript:emoticon(':D')The Pluggos now work perfectly! Still hate the authorization process though. oh well.
