Why no OSX Firewire audio problems in other apps?

yes I defo think I will. Trying to record hardware and software simultaneously and dropouts are certainly not acceptable in those circumstances, at the moment i'm reduced to recording the outboard onto the computer and rendering the entire audio file, but this is very impractical. I've had a lot of trouble with the firewire 410 so far, such as midi out not working, and the occasional blue screen of death. - I will see if I can flog it and then buy the rme - it looks like the solution to my problems. BTW vince, i've picked up your headspace ep, the f... U ep and your adrenogroov remix recently - highly enjoying all of them!!!

surely there is a way to secure it better into the port?? Anyone know of way?
