My midi notes change octaves all the time

Hi,

My riffs that are made with midi notes constantly change octaves.

For example, it happens all the time that a riff is in its entirity transposed down
an octave. I constantly have to select all the notes and drag them up or down an octave.

Any help?

p.s. check the midi utilities, there's a pitch shift utility that you can set to +-12
