"Utility" FX volume to go all the way down with no sound out

I would like to see the "Utility" FX volume to be able to go all the way down to negative infinity. To have no sound out when all the way down. I find I like to use the "Utility" FX for mixing more than the built in mixer stuff.

I don't understand what you're asking for here?? whats wrong with the normal mixing controls?

In arrangement view, I find my work flow much quicker and easier to use the "Utility" for mixing in a FX chain strip. When I have the track view collapsed, I have to expand the track to get to the mixer. I find I'm bouncing back and forth between expanding and collapsing tracks and then go down to the FX chain section of the track. Much smother and faster work flow to be able to do all my mixing and FX editing in the FX window without having to keep expanding and collapsing the track view.

Maybe Ableton can have the mixer viewable at the end of a tracks FX chain down in the FX view box.

Summary, to avoid the extra steps of expanding and collapsing tracks to get to the mixer.

+1 for a greater range of utility to "-infinite db" (+36dB can stay!)

I would use it for Macro Controls in Racks, so I can widely control the volume everywhere in chains of my my effektrack, where I want to, not only in den Outputs of Chains.
