really annoyed with ableton 8!!! not working!!!

i am really frustrated that i have just spent 400 dollars on a program that doesnt function correctly!!!!
i had a deadline today to meet for a film maker, i had the score written in ableton and now i cannot bounce the file out!!!!
the audio keeps cutting out and my cpu is only @ 40%!!!
if i keep tapping space bar stop start stop start the audio will come back in but then it clicks back out when u play for a few seconds like its overloading or something, have resampled all the synth tracks,froze everything and its still doing it.....not looking to professional on my end now...

One suggestion is,if you are doing this while in Arrangement view, is to zoom out as far as you can on your midi and audio tracks and disable or turn off the FOLLOW function. Sometimes for me, the video,graphics,etc. in Live is what causes clicking.

yeah I'm willing to say that abletons track record for putting out software that runs decent on first release is pretty shitty.

yeah, follow is a huge cpu hog for me as well.
