Hi All
Just upgraded from 6 to 8 so I can use the APC. When I'm playing live I have a Kaoss Pad KP3 set the BPM and Ableton syncs off that via USB. However since upgrading to 8, sometimes if I'm too pad-happy with the Kaoss pad, ableton pops up a message telling me that the sync has been lost and reverts back to whatever the BPM was before the external sync was started. This is obviously no good as ableton has to be restarted in order to receive the clock signal again.
Any thoughts? At first I thought it was a dodgy USB cable but it isn't.

Re: Ableton losing sync signal
Gonna bump this cos I have a gig on Saturday and still have no solutions, hope no one minds!
Re: Ableton losing sync signal
if i were you i'd sync them the other way around, run live as master and the kaosspad as the slave.
the problem with live as slave is that you loose the latency compensation.
