Track Volume Setting in Session View.

Post by wasabi805 » Wed Aug 26, 2009 2:23 am

Hello everyone.

I had a quick question regarding track volume settings in session view. I'm using a DJM 800 to control the track volumes in session view.
The DJM800 mixer is set up so that when an individual track fader is at 0, all sound is cut and when at 10, the fader is at it's most physical highest volume.

My Question:

Is there a way in Ableton to adjust my faders on the DJM800 (or any other type of midi controlled volume fader for the matter) so that when the DJM fader is at level 10 on the mixer itself, the track in Live will level off the volume to the 0 decibel line in session view?

Thanks for your time.
:)

Yes, enter midi map mode (CMD+M) and open the browser in Live. From here you can set the range of all midi assignments.

Thanks man. I didn't realize you could do it in there. BTW, i always use your EQ plugin. Great work!
