quick and blurry update from some time ago. New table and more room finally. Today the table is completely full of stuff and I will take a recent pic soon. But it's nice to see how it compares to my last pic. The red phone is of course still there

Well, the Matrix is on a wheeled cart, so I just roll it under the desk when not playing keyed parts. Works well for me.
@ Rave: I agree, the Ikea tables are great. Some complain that they tip over, but I've yet to see that happen. The stands on the other hand, I feel like I'm gampling with them. Too wobbly. I either need to put a weight on the bottom, or upgrade to a heavy duty, sand filled set. Are they like that for you?
ah, that makes sense.
oh and i had those same monitor stands and yeah, they were kinda wobbly even with KRK RP5s

@Reuss - that's a really nice set-up, looks very ergonomic - I like the space-saving keyboard on a keyboard. What are those tiny monitor speakers though?

Hehe, I was just asking kinda politely, just in case they were some tweeters from some super expensive 2.1 system that I didn't know about...

Those are the exact same creative speakers we have on our family pooter. I bought them at Comp USA I think. About 5 years ago. They sound AWESOME. Wife loves to CRANK that 80s Euro retro stuff on them and they definitely do the job. Nice set up.

@DrXparaMental: yeah mine are about that old too - I kept them around because they actually do sound pretty nice and they seem to be pretty sturdy too. Also they fit my need pretty good for now. However seeing the uber pro studio monitors and other equipment one does get a bit intimidated hahaha
