btw looks like a fun setup but you totally cleaned up before taking that shot, I'd love to see it after a weekend of mayhem.

Great seeing a nice rack of novation stuff.
I also have a Nova, it was my first hardware synth.
I bought mine new way back when they first came out and taught my self how
synths work using it. The shit happened and i had to sell it.
I recently bought another one though!!!
Its like moving back home.
There is a super nova that keeps popping up on NZ E.bay.
I would love to drop the cash on that bad boy...
Very cool and very underrated synths that often get passed by in the rush to get Nords and Viruses...

The Nova is my first hardware synth as well - since i was on a limited budget i decided go second hand on the synths hehehe. Got the Nova first - then the two others. I'm still learning, so i guess the Nova is going to be my training device also 8)

I actually like them a lot... and i must look a bit novation fan boi-ish since i recently added the novation keyboard to the setup

Nothing wrong with that..
The thing about the Nova is it was designed and sold during the rave revolution, so all of the presets tend to lean in that direction.
If your into that sort of thing then that's all good, but if your not the first thing you should do is turn the arpegiator off and turn down the reverb and delays... the actual raw sound of the synth is very very good.
On the down side, its MIDI can be a bit quirky, and if you want to record knob moves you need to do a couple of work rounds using a midi merge box.. no biggie and its all explained in the manual..
Have at it and have fun...
