Hi!

Just updated my G5 and have to say it..... 10.3.8 rocks! Firewire is definitive better, and the graphics is also faster....good update!

Anyone updated their Powerbook yet?

I normally jump into updates but 10.3.7 slowed things down for me and I don't want to be bitten again.

Yep, been running 10.3.8 with 4.1 on my PB all day - seems fine (snappier if anything)...

that's interesting vince. i think it might have been a memory thing. my system (a rev c 12" pbook) had 256MB at the time of the update and things got very slow (mail.app startup etc). i've since upped the memory to 768MB and things have settled down again.

i'll take the plunge after lunch and report back.

Rad, I can't wait to install this update when I get home. I wish m-audio would "certify" their fucking drivers so I could update them already.. =/
