Cool, you should be busy enough with other projects then. Bye.fake_account wrote: Besides that, I am an invited beta-tester for RME, XLN Audio, U-He, Parallels, Paragon and another DAW maker. So I know quite well how report & conquer works, thank you.![]()

Hard to tell with you. And not exactly a good choice of words given the context of the conversation.
And cheers for making my point. Stuff breaks, the users report crashes. Happens with a lot of companies.

Nah, I have some time spare to visit the forum of my still main audio application. As as you know I am also giving support for Live (and various other music computer related things) to other people.[nis] wrote:Cool, you should be busy enough with other projects then. I am still waiting for an answer/solution to the email communication between you, me, RME and the Ableton customer that RME asked me to help with his Ableton Live Midi delay (compensation) issues. Any news?

I object to how easy this forum can be used with fake accounts and question the continuous banishment of one specific user while allowing others to repeatedly publish insults, adult content, anti-women and anti-homosexual propaganda and racist statements.

Hehe, some level of ambiguity gives spice to conversations. But I really didn't mean to be mean in any way. My stance on Live as a program is quite neutral and objective, I even just recommended someone to keep on mixing in Live instead of moving to Logic for that.hoffman2k wrote:![]()

Absolutely! I never claimed Live has to be the only bug-free software in the world, but in my *personal* experience there is a very distinguishable difference between how effective other companies resolve *complex* issues in cooperation with their customers compared to Ableton. But objective also means to recognize the flaws and base decisions on how good a job gets done by a piece of gear (Live is not half as suitable for *live* tasks as I'd like it to be for example). And cheers for making my point. I still guess that Ableton staff is largely overworked both in the support and development department. Probably that's why they're looking for developers, cannot blame them for that. But you can blame them for bad information politics and wasting users' on well known issues by not acknowledging them or hopefully even fix them (think about Midi Slave Sync issues as an example here).

Nah man. History clearly shows you're the one who blew all chances of getting help from Ableton.
If I had the issues you described, I'd go nuts too.
Not so nuts that I would insult a whole support department to the point where they just give up supporting me.
Anyway. This talk is over for my part, as I'm not in the mood to repeat the whole saga over your next 20 accounts.
Good luck getting your issues resolved. I genuinely mean it when I try to help people resolving their Live problems. But there is no helping you. I tried..
