Midi Control Changes per device

Dear Support,

I'm using a Mackie C4 controller to handle the device parameters. It would be very beneficial
if those control changes could be set per device. Now when I assign a knob for a device and use that same knob on another device, both devices change their parameter at the same time.

In a future release it would be great if one could use the same knob for parameters on different devices but only the device with the focus would get its parameter changed.

I'm still on Ableton 7.0.16 though, so maybe in Live 8 this has been addressed ?
