Snow Leopard Gold Master
Re: Snow Leopard Gold Master
I'd love to get it, but I can't help feeling it would be a world of pain. M-Audio for one have a record of taking 6 months or more to update their drivers, so I can imagine happily installing 10.6 and then spending a weekend of misery before giving up and going back to 10.5
maybe it wouldn't be like that, but until someone out there wit a Firewire 410 and all my other soft and hard ware does it seamlessly I think I may have to wait

Re: Snow Leopard Gold Master
I'm tempted to wait just to avoid having it shipped to my apartment that has the office close before I get home, and to avoid the silly-stupid lines at the local Apple Stores.
In-fact, I probably will.

I don't 'produce.' I write music.
Re: Snow Leopard Gold Master
Just curious - I have reached the limit of two installations for live. Snow Leopard will arrive this week, so if I wipe everything off the disk and perform a clean install (I don't like clutter on my system), does it change my machine-ID, leaving me unable to use live, since there is no license left?
Any information is appreciated.
