nebulae wrote:It's time to tell the truth about Keyser Soze. Before I say anything else, let me remind Keyser that he seems unable to think of turns of speech that aren't hackneyed. What really grates on my nerves, however, is that Keyser's prose consists less of words chosen for the sake of their meaning than of phrases tacked together like the sections of a prefabricated henhouse.
On theoretical grounds alone, Keyser's statements are so filled with errors that I feel some futility in replying to them. Not that I've come to expect any better from Keyser. His claim that he is omnipotent is not only an attack on the concept of objectivity but an assault on the human mind. Separatism doesn't work. So why does Keyser cling to it? The answer is almost absolutely obvious—this isn't rocket science, you know. The key is that Keyser sees the world as somewhat anarchic, a game of catch-as-catch-can in which the sneakiest troublemakers nab the biggest prizes. We must present a clear picture of what is happening, what has happened, and what is likely to happen in the future. Only then can a society free of his meddlesome, misinformed epigrams blossom forth from the roots of the past. And only then will people come to understand that he has allowed himself to become a spokesman for the same point of view shared by overweening demoniacs, vengeful jabberers, and the worst kinds of crass litterbugs I've ever seen while masquerading as an outspoken radical bucking the system.
I'd advise Keyser to stop being so dictatorial. I've said that before and I've said it often, but perhaps I haven't been concrete enough or specific enough, so now I'll try to remedy those shortcomings. I'll try to be a lot more specific and concrete when I explain that every time Keyser gets caught trying to dress up his profit motive in the cloak of selfless altruism, he promises he'll never do so again. Subsequently, his peons always jump in and explain that he really shouldn't be blamed even if he does because, as they believe, newspapers should report only on items he agrees with. Of perhaps even more concern is that it's his deep-seated belief that we ought to worship deluded, iconoclastic ochlocrats as folk heroes. Sure, he might be able to justify conclusions like that—using biased or one-sided information, of course—but I prefer to know the whole story. In this case, the whole story is that Keyser has gotten away with so much for so long that he's lost all sense of caution, all sense of limits. If you think about it, only a man without any sense of limits could desire to destroy our country from within. To close, let me accentuate that if we bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the current debate we shall not only survive Keyser Soze's attacks; we shall prevail.
What was it you were saying about, "hackneyed and prefabricated"?
But let me breakdown Nebulae's drivel.

Is this so called "truth" based on the perspective of a person whose majority of posts basically revert around adolescent, cheap toilet humour? A person who boasts about being an attorney and therefore you would assume has some semblance of an education and decorum yet whose subject matter in his threads consist of things like:
"Do you have a masturbation problem?", " I have to fart but I'm getting a blow job", "....Obama sex toys", or threads to the effect of "scantilly clad ladies", "check out the big boobies on her" etc..., etc.... There are so many of your ridiculous posts and pathetic attempts at humour that I am not prepared to spend my time reading all your gobbledygook and listing all the crap you post. They are there for all to see. I would say most people would cringe from embarrassment. Though obviously not you, seeing that you don't realise how foolish you come across. Can't you see how inherently wrong it is that you consistently post such twaddle?
Your first two paragraphs are full of babble. A very obvious lawyer tactic of diverting attention onto moot points.
Your third paragraph is no better than your first and second. You are really clutching at straws, particularly when you say:

First of all, you're the guy who has the peons jumping in. You have also confused who actually worships "iconoclastic ochlocrats." I have no friends here jumping to my aid. Anyone who attacks fun, fun Friday nebulae cops the wrath of his legion of fan boys with a mob rule frenzy. The iconoclast is you nebulea. You are the one who destroys this forum with your cheap, pathetic attempts at humour and your insipid subject matter. Your bullying and the rallying round of your cohorts just highlights who the real iconoclastic ochlocrats are. I can hear the cries now. "Ban Keyser Soze. who is this guy anyway"? "Burn the witch. Burn the witch" .... Yee ha!
What is it you say?

The person who constantly makes distasteful posts about all kinds of inappropiate subjects I would say is a man without any sense of limits. So because I fail to embrace your brand of humour, you insinuate that I am somehow undermining the fabric of society. Yeah right. You really must be a blind, deluded fool.
I find the content matter of the majority of your posts puerile. I am exercising my right to express my sentiments. I don't like what you post and you don't like me telling you. Simple as that. This is a public forum. I guess you are free to post crap and that makes me free to comment on it. You don't like me being around because I tell it as I see it. That makes you uncomfortable and upsets the equilibrium of your infantile universe.
All I do here is vent. Let off a bit of steam. Release some tension. Say the things that I would not normally say in real life. I find it therapeutic. It's harmless and I don't think I am that troublesome. Just brutally honest. Over the years I have read a number of your posts nebulae and I think to myself how is it possible that one man can persistently post so much peurile drivel? You come across as the kind of guy who at a barbeque would wear the apron with a pair of tits painted on them. The person who tries too hard to be "cool" and "liked". I guess what irks me is I find it weird that a lawyer can be like that. You are supposed to be educated. I didn't even finish high school, yet I can recognise common decency. It might explain why I would have no faith in you as a lawyer.
Maybe in real life you are nothing like the person who I imagine you to be. One can only hope.
Ladies and gentlemen of the jury. I rest my case.
Keaton always said, "I don't believe in God, but I'm afraid of him." Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Soze.
