wausp yall,
so i just got my APC40 and i got live 7.1 and a mackbook i installed the software CD that came with it and it made another ableton Icon on my dock, in order for me to use it i gotta open the new ableton icon and have the software CD inside my laptop in order for Live to recognize and be able to use it, is it suppose to be like that? its kind of annoying, specially since i lost the actual CD so now i cant use it, am I doing something wrong? Do i have to have the cd in at all times if i don't have Version 8? any help will be very appreciated. tnx

Re: APC40 and LIVE 7
Hey
I thought the same thing but
I deleted the Live Lite 7 (the new Live you got off the CD)
all I had to do was go to Live's Preferences and go to the MIDI Sync Tab
Choose APC 40 for Control Surface, Input and Output now mine works like a charm
Hope this helps
