How to record audio from reakor 5

Post by Juda » Thu Sep 03, 2009 12:33 pm

Hey,

I have a problem with exported audio file recorded from reaktor5. When i try to export this audio file in recycle for example or any other audio palyer it says the file is corrupted or unknown extension...what the deal? All other audios (from browser for example) can be exported and opened in audio palyers or recycle with no problem. Maybe im recording reakotr 5 wrongly? I Just rout an empty midi track with reaktor 5 to audio and recorded it. It plays fine in ableton 8 when i play the music but i cannot export it to work with recycle or work at all outside ableton 8. Please help!!

Best regards

Marcin

p.s. maybe im recording it somehow wrongly from reaktor midi channel (using reakto5 or reaktor5 fx 2x8 as plugin when droping it onto midi track).
Can someone kindly pass me thrught it step by step? Maybe someone has a video on that? Would be nice.

Thanks in advance.

I thought i did :) Im creating midi channel and audio channel. Droping reaktor5 VST onto midi channel. Then im routing whats reaktor playing onto audio and record it on this audio channel. Now i can delete midi channel with reakotor 5 vst plugin and audio channel plays on its own fine with recorded audio on it. Problem starts when im trying to export this audio and open it in recycle for example. IT says its corrupted or wrong extensions. I have only Normalize ON and 32 Bits...maybe here is the problem i dunno but tried with diffrent options ON and OFF and same. Even in Itunes it cannot be palyed back as it would be really corrupted.

well shittttt....it helped  Thank you Rave. Do anyone maybe also know why is this happening with 24 and 32 bits? And Also do this have some big difference beetween setting on 32 rather then 16...i mean is there a diffrerence in sample quality? Or is it so small there is no point in setting 32 and 16 will do also very nicely?

Thanks in advance for your posts on that Questions!!

Best,
