@ frankieP..
do you use the microkorg as a foot control?
and most importantly, how does porn look on the big screen?

@frankieP
that's the least ergonomic setup i've ever seen!
looks like fun.. but i hope you don't do final mixes on a home theater audio system... couldn't be very accurate!

that's genius.. nice use of the APC to trigger porn video clips.. no more fast forwarding or searching.. map out your favorite perversions on the session view and fire away.. finally someone actually puts the video function of Ableton to good use..

Nothing online as of yet. Currently trying to put up some of my music and production work on Myspace.
I DJ'd at smaller venues around NY way back in the 90's and had done some remixing work back in 2000-2003 for small fees. I then took a break from music production/remixing after the birth of my twin boys and was bitten by the home theater installation bug which took me two years to build on my own. So after 5 years of not doing anything remotely with music, i'm slowly trying to come back to it.
I had entered various remixing contests within the last year and so far I had won a few. There was that Johnny Cash remix contest on another site which was chosen for the grand prize and just found out today that I won another contest which you can check it out on Youtube.

here's another one that I entered (currently being judged)...

New apt and 48 1 ft x ft foam panels. I'm really impressed with the difference. A clap echo before the foam was quite loud. Now it is nice and soft. 12 on the left wall, 12 on the right, 8 on the back wall, 8 on the ceiling and 8 on the wall behind the monitors.
Oh yeah and some gear and a hackintosh too!
Thanks again TK on the T pins idea to attach the foam without ruining the walls.

How did you get the dual monitors like that? all the tracks stretched across 2 screens? Isn't that the feature people have been complaining about getting?
Re: Post your set up and your sexy cat...
looks like standard windows "extend desktop to secondary display" and just maximizing the live window across 2 monitors..outershpongolia wrote:How did you get the dual monitors like that? all the tracks stretched across 2 screens? Isn't that the feature people have been complaining about getting?
what people complain about (as best as i can see) is not being able to have a separate window for arrangement view & session view each to be displayed on 1 monitor or a dedicated window for warping audio, midi sequencing, etc.. etc..

No shit.. When I saw these complaints I guess I just figured that Live wouldn't spread out across both screens. Like how Windows Media Player can be full screened on one screen and leaves the other useful.cotdagoo wrote:looks like standard windows "extend desktop to secondary display" and just maximizing the live window across 2 monitors..outershpongolia wrote:How did you get the dual monitors like that? all the tracks stretched across 2 screens? Gonna go try it, even though my second monitor is my TV all the way on the right side of my setup.
So people are basically requesting certain things to float around on the screen like how palettes work in Photoshop, Illustrator, etc? No that would help with a second monitor set up for my drummer to see metronome, his tracks, effects, etc.
