ok so far i had one BCF2000 running in Ableton, works really nice under Mackie-Emulation-Mode. Now i want to use a second for controlling Channel 9-16, anybody know how to do that? When i set them up like in the BCF-Manual (first Unit Mode U-4, second S-3 and BCFs connected to each other over MIDI) doesn´t work like it´s supposed to be.
So i set both BCF in Mode U-3 (first ID-2 and second ID-2) and set them up in Ableton under Midi-Sync. They work right, Problem ist they are both controlling Channel 1-8, so if i move one Fader, the Fader of the second unit moves, too. How can i set up that stuff so first BCF is for Channel 1-8 and second for Channel 9-16? Any help much appreciated

the second BCF would need to be set up as a MackieControlXT in the Live prefs...
i've never used an extender, so i have no idea if an extender sends out different MIDI messages or not... i guess you'll find out soon enough!

Can i vote for you or something?
That was so easy - i never thought about that XT of course means extension - now it works! Great, thank you very much for your help!
