yeah but what I'm trying to figure out is why does one need to mess with task manager?!

from what I can tell it's just an innocuous web page. just go "back" or close the window or something!

the implication here is that there is some nefarious script contained which is locking up one's computer, or doing some nastiness...

but it appears to me to just be some flash animation which does not require any abnormal amount of resources, or do anything except play some great music and display some handsome headshots

for me back button didn't work, I had to use Task Manager.. didn't freak out and restart my computer but the back button didn't do it, and I couldn't click the X because it was dancing around my screen.

You should be able to see why I ended task then. Considering how loud that shit was I can actually see why someone would hold the the power button down too. Its not like you can think straight with that mess blaring in your ears... I had ear buds on and unplugged em but if it was coming through my monitors I might have been a little more pissed off.
